Kobe Bryant Shows Off Achilles Tendon Surgery Scar

NBA Laker player Kobe Bryant seems to be in high spirits and good health after posting a pic on his Facebook page to show a pic of his surgery scar.

In April, Laker #24 underwent surgery after tearing his Achilles tendon on his left leg.

It has been three months since the surgery, but Bryant is up  and walking, and his really looking forward to returning to the court.

So far while rehabilitating, he has attended promotional trips, and even makes time for fans.

We just hope that he is taking his exercising lightly while recovering from the surgery.

Good luck Kobe, we can’t wait to see you on the courts next season!

Advice from Kerry Washington: Don’t Look At A Scale Too Much

Kerry Washington has one hot body and is not shy when it comes to sharing her secrets. In fact, over the past years, Kerry has told multiple magazines different ways she stays in shapes and the one thing she never does that keeps her confident. In 2007, Kerry told People Magazine,

“In general in life I try to live it, not diet. I think that’s hard when you’re restricting a lot. So I try to take it easy on a daily basis and do what’s going to make me feel good. I love to exercise. I generally exercise every day.”

She also told People Magazine at the time,

“I watch what I eat, I do. My body is really sensitive so I’m very conscious of what I put in my mouth. I try for the most part to eat things that are going to make me feel better, not worse.”

Besides eating the proper food, she also loves getting a workout in. She does everything from pilates to hiking to different dance classes. She admitted to Women’s Health Magazine recently that pilates is her favorite though saying,

Recently, the beautiful “Extra!” host Maria Menounos took to the beach in Greece celebrating her 35th birthday with family and her boyfriend.

Menounos’ toned abs and a lean figure definitely defines this Greek bikini.

Maria once had to strip down into a two-piece on national television when she lost her Super Bowl bet earlier this year, but she had nothing to worry about because it seems this equity stays bikini ready all year long!

To get abs like Maria, we suggest some ab exercises like crunches, sit ups, or side leg raises that work out the sides of your abs for definition. Remember; keep your abs tight when doing this exercise!

Exercises tips to have a backside like Kate Hudson

Want to look great from behind like Kate Hudson?

Here are some exercise tips to get that fanny fit:

First, start with Warm-ups. OK Mag advises to get your back warmed up, perform the classic yoga cat-cow stretch. Start by pulling in your stomach to round your back and then arch it and reach the top of your head toward your tailbone.

The next exercise uses your entire body to be involved. First lay face down on the floor with your arms straight out next to your ears, the tops of your feet should be on the ground. Then lift your arms, head, chest, and legs off the floor. Then bring the right leg and left arm down lower and switch to the opposite leg and arm. Release to the floor and do 15 repetitions.

Try some of these exercises if you want to get that backside right before summer begins!

A New Hollywood Obsession: SoulCycle

It seems like celebrities are always looking for new ways to workout and stay in shape, whether it is a new yoga class or an intense session at Barry’s Bootcamp. Nowadays there is a new love going around called SoulCycle. It has become a new Hollywood obsession, and classes everywhere sell out in seconds. Everyone from Vanessa Hudgens to Tom Cruise to Anderson Cooper enjoy this new way to exercise. One might wonder how SoulCycle is different than regular indoor spin class and why someone would spend $34.00 on a class, but according to participants, it is worth every cent. Yes, SoulCycle is in indoor cycling class but unlike spin class, SoulCycle is stretching and cycling all at once. You get a total body workout rather than just working on your thighs and legs. It is described as “part dance party, part therapy, part communal high”. It combines the breathing taught in yoga while the intensity of cycling taught in a spin class, while also working your upper body. People describe it has a type of “high”. As of now, SoulCycle classes are only located in New York and Los Angeles, but in the next year or two, SoulCycle will be expanding to cities like DC, San Francisco, and Chicago. Everyone looks for a new way to exercise that they actually like, and this might be the one for you.
