Jennifer Aniston Surprisingly Wants To Lose Weight

Jennifer Aniston is one of the most flawless woman of our time, but she doesn’t always feel as comfortable as you may think. The 45 year old could pass as 25, but she has her bad days just like all of us.

In the beginning of her Yahoo! Beauty interview, she admitted to breaking her diet, and ate a bagel.

“I usually give myself bread on the weekends, but really, my body doesn’t love carbs. These days, if I was being super picky, I would love to drop five pounds.

Say what?! The actress says that she is most comfortable at about 110-113 pounds, which some women could only dream of. She does admit though that the older she gets the harder it becomes. Because she is in her forties now, she pressure to be perfect due to other people’s comments are less appealing to her.

“… you have 30 mean people who sit at their computers and spend their entire day picking apart and insulting celebrities about how ugly they are just so they can feel better – I guess – about themselves. I don’t understand it. There is also this pressure in Hollywood to be ageless.”

Well Jen, don’t worry. You’ll always be ageless to us.

Get Polar’s Heart Rate Monitor & See Results!

Well, it could be a couple things but I know sometimes we think we are putting in the work, when we are actually not putting in enough work.

I came across this issue a couple months ago myself, when I wasn’t shedding the pounds. I was the counting calories I ate and those burned through exercise based on  the built in heart rate monitors on machines at the gym, and still failed to see results. That’s when I  decided to go the extra step and buy a heart rate monitor to get precise calculations. Having done some extensive research, Polar seemed to be the brand that was most trusted by its customers. Like many people, I had purchased the Nike fuel band in the past and although a fun and convenient gadget (I loved how you can sync it up with the other Nike apps on my iPhone) it failed to provide me with the basics of a precise heart rate and amount of calories burned. Nike fuel points are cool, but it wasn’t enough.

After buying the Polar heart rate monitor, I started using it for every workout and to my surprise, I wasn’t burning as much calories as I thought I was. I thought for sure I was burning 600 or more calories in a one hour Nike training class, but in reality I was burning about 350-400 each class. Realizing that during a week of training,  I was off 200 or more calories a day really makes a BIG difference. Even the gym elliptical machine read that in 30 minutes I burned 300 calories, and in actuality my heart rate monitor informed me it was only 220 calories.

One pound is equal to 3200 calories, that being said, if you don’t know how much you are burning, how do you know when or if you are going to see the results you want to see?

After logging my workouts and calories burned, I realized I needed to turn it up a notch and get in more of a sweat at the gym. Within two weeks of having this heart rate monitor, I lost those last 5 stubborn pounds that were keeping me from my goal weight.

Britney Spears: Fit and Fab at 32!


There is no doubt that Britney Spears is looking freaking awesome these days and that comes just in time as she announced her split with David Lucado (what’s a better way to make your cheating boyfriend jealous!).

In an interview with E! News, her trainer Tony Martinez works Britney out twice a week with him for 30-40 minutes.  Let’s also not forget that Britney still has her residency at Planet Hollywood that also keeps her in shape!

Tony always has Britney workout at the beach claiming, “It’s so calming and peaceful.  You can see the dolphins out there, and I try to make the exercises facing the ocean… It’s always at the beach and it’s always interval training.” 

Britney’s workout consists of:

1) Picking two interval exercises that use her whole body and adds workouts that uses her abs with 10-15 seconds rest between them.

2) Britney plays a volleyball game and if she loses she has to run to the ocean and back.

3) Crab walks and bear crawls in the sand; Britney gets on all fours and crawls thru the sand doing sequences of Crab walks, and bear crawls.

4) Cement mountain climbers“… forearms are against or lying on a cement wall and she is kneeling over with her feet on the Tony Martinez Core Discs, and [she] brings the discs toward the cement wall or toward me.”

5) Uses a Tony Martinez Band“… pull the band back and she does a reserve lunge with one leg and then again on the other side.”

Tony spilled,

“Her abs and legs look great because of all that work in the sand, and it’s easier on the joints.  One time we ran from pier to pier, which is four miles.  When we were done Britney said, ‘I would definitely do that again’.  She is tough, and she wasn’t even out of breath.  She is tough.  Her stamina is really great now.  She doesn’t get tired.  I’m the one huffing and puffing.”

Well now we know her secret to performing on stage without looking like she is breaking a sweat!
